In general, larger search coils will achieve better depth perception when locating larger targets and you also get much better ground coverage. However, you may sacrifice smaller objects due to a lower sensitivity. That’s why this small search coil completes an already sensitive detector and gives you access to places a bigger coil might not fit into.
All Fisher search coils are electrostatically shielded, waterproofed and are covered by a one year warranty.
Please note, coil cover and coil hardware (knobs/screw) are not included.
