Caledonian Classic Sluice
The Classic is the mid-sized Caledonian sluice. It is perfect for the beginner and expert alike and fits into most large ruck sacks. It is light weight and with its high performance riffles, makes this our most popular sluice. A ‘pinch’ has been added to the well proven riffle design, resulting in an area of flow deceleration. This adds a further level of safety, as it also traps even the finest gold. There is a recess which can take a classification mesh (not supplied) and it comes with ribbed rubber mat fitted as standard.

Caledonian sluices
The Caledonian sluice range was developed using the experience of over twenty years of knowledge in gold mining and panning. It soon became Europe’s number one sluice. The original fibreglass sluices have been superseded by refined lightweight versions manufactured in high impact ABS plastic. This makes them strong and durable. They all come with a recessed ribbed rubber assay mat giving early gold indication and improved laminar flow.
