Caledonian Super Sluice

This is the largest of the Caledonian range. It is designed to allow the processing of large volumes of material which can be fed unclassified from a Caledonian Super pump or shovel. A wider, heavier and more robust sluice, it incorporates a cross strut to give added rigidity.

• 365mm internal width at the front
• 180mm internal width at the “waist”
• 220mm internal width at the end
• 500mm external width at the widest front part
• 350mm external width at the end
• 2.5kg

Caledonian sluices

The Caledonian sluice range was developed using the experience of over twenty years of knowledge in gold mining and panning. It soon became Europe’s number one sluice. The original fibreglass sluices have been superseded by refined lightweight versions manufactured in high impact ABS plastic. This makes them strong and durable. They all come with a recessed ribbed rubber assay mat giving early gold indication and improved laminar flow.
