If you’ve ever used a high frequency VLF gold prospecting machine you’ll know it detects your hand if you wave it over the coil with material in your hand trying to establish where that little nugget is hiding that you detected, this plastic scoop is a must for that job to keep your hand away from the coil and speed up the nugget recovery. These things are surprisingly tough and last for years. They’re also perfect for feeding material into your sluice box. They’re very light weight and I would never go gold detecting without one.
