“One of the very first challenges I faced when I purchased my very own dream mat from Montana was how to clamp the matting down. My first few profiles looked great but as I learnt form testing, they secured the mat but did not treat the water as I wanted it to.

Eventually I designed this profile which both secured the mat, allowed the water too pool rather than surge and then I added a finger lifting profile to the clamp. I had to make up some special tooling as the bending brake really didn’t like the profile I designed, but it was worth the effort.” – Dustin McMurray (Goldrat Engineering)

This clamp will work in securing any sluice matting system down that has a minimum half inch thickness.
