Description
This configuration of a GX200 Honda engine mounted on a base plate and powering one of PROLINE’S impressive HP400 water pumps together with a T80 compressor has been used by dredgers for decades.
The HP400 is a 3” x 2” pump with a large five vane aggressive bite impeller. The impeller diameter, or ”trim”, is 5.25” (133mm).
It was designed for 200+ cc engines with a 5/8”-18 externally threaded crankshaft. It’s capable of producing up to 380 GPM in a free-flow condition, with no load (back-pressure) placed upon it. Typically, the pump’s working pressure in a gold dredging/highbanking environment will be in the 35 to 45 PSI range, but it can sustain 55+ PSI without any difficulty or seal issues. It is used primarily for gold dredges but has uses in many other applications such as aquaculture and removing weeds from lakes and ponds.
Intake: 3″
Discharge: 2″, NPT thread
Comes complete with belt shroud and base plate as pictured.
